The Office of Sacred Worship oversees the special Masses held throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis, especially those involving the Archbishop, Bishops, and Vicar General. We hope the information below will assist you in the planning of your special Mass.

 

Steps to Planning a Mass with the Archbishop, Bishop or Vicar General

  1. Contact the Archbishop or Bishops office to complete the necessary forms to schedule them as your celebrant.
  2. Reserve the necessary space. To reserve the St. Vincent De Paul Chapel in the Cardinal Rigali Center in order to celebrate Mass, please contact Jodie Wear at 314.792.7004. 
  3. Fill out a Planning Guide to be submitted to the Office of the Chancellor and Office of Sacred Worship for approval
  4. Determine if a program is needed and if so, contact the Office of Sacred Worship at least one month prior to the event and we can help you create and print a program. Or, you may create and design your own. However, the program must be approved before printing.
