Fr. Scheid Players

Auditions for the Fr. Scheid Players’ Production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Come be a part of the long tradition of the Fr. Scheid Players putting on family-friendly productions! Auditions are open to all. We have room for everyone from 5 to 105! Three audition times: Tuesday, May 31, 6:00 at the Rigali Center in the Fleur de Lis room Thursday, June 2, 6:30 at St Margaret Mary Alacoque School in the Music room Sunday, June 5, 1:00 at the Rigali Center in the Fleur de Lis room. For auditions, you will have to sing a few bars and learn a few dance steps. If you want to audition for a part, you will have to read from the script. Productions dates are July 22-24 at Nerinx Hall, the Heagney Theatre in Webster Groves.


Paraprofessionals and Learning Consultants Needed

Veterans Retreat at White House Retreat

U.S. Military Veterans Spiritual Retreat at White House Retreat (7400 Christopher Drive, St. Louis, MO 63129) - June 30 to July 3 This retreat features a series of talks focusing on issues pertaining to Veterans. Each talk will be followed by small group breakout sessions for attendees to share their own experiences related to the topics presented. The retreat will help veterans focus on their military experience and how God was with them and continues to be with them. It digs in to trauma created by PTSD and guilt and shame that can accompany military experience. We will also have worship services and quiet time for personal prayer and reflection. Attendees will each receive private accommodations and all meals. $30 deposit to register. Check in is from 4:30 PM to 6 PM on June 30th with dinner to follow and the retreat will conclude on July 3rd after lunch. Open to men and women of any denomination who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Social Justice Forum - Restorative Criminal Justice and Human Dignity

Our panel includes members from the Criminal Justice Ministry and Kairos Prison Ministry. •The Criminal Justice Ministry serves people impacted by the criminal justice system. •Kairos Prison Ministry is a faith-based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated individuals.
