Rocío Aguayo BSW, FCP
Certified FertilityCare™ Practitioner
Since 2013 I’ve helped clients learn and gain confidence in the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. I view teaching as a ministry, a form of social service, and having come into the System as a client/patient, I know firsthand the benefits of the Creighton Model. My experiences pushed me toward helping other Latino women see the wonderful blessings of natural family planning.
Melissa McGraugh Barnason
Office Assistant, Office of Natural Family Planning
I’ve worked at the NFP Office for 19 glorious years. I have two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s and always loved school and research. I still enjoy trivia, history, studying my faith and trying new things. My favorite part of my job is working with the Adoption Grant. In 2007, I received the Cardinal Rigali Service Award with Pat Notestine.
K. Diane Daly, RN, CFCE
Director, Office of Natural Family Planning
As director of the Archdiocesan Office of NFP I have worked within this entity since the early days then called the Archbishop’s representative for NFP. I am a certified FertilityCare™ educator (CFCE) and supervisor at Mercy Hospital [St. Louis]. This has given me the privilege of bringing Fertility Care services to students on 6 continents and personally work in several countries on 4 continents, as well as locally. Being a Catholic registered nurse frames what I do and transfers to my personal life as a wife, mother, grandmother and health-care volunteer at my parish. I am a member of the Archdiocesan Curia and have served on the strategic planning team and on the Missouri Catholic Conference’s public policy committee. Having been nominated for awards within the Catholic Church and been presented awards through the professional organization and Mercy, my greatest personal achievement is marrying my husband, raising our 4 children and helping with our grandchildren.
My greatest professional achievement is co-developing the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. After serving as the first president of the American Academy of FertilityCare™ Professionals (AAFCP) and its first chairman of certification, it’s heartwarming to see the visionary work continue through others.
Lucy Harris, BSN, CFCP
Certified FertilityCare™ Practitioner
I’ve worked for Mercy for 27 years as a Practitioner of the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System. I’ve also led the Enkindle [infertility support] group with Donna Whiteley for over 5 years. I also received Mercy’s Value of Service Award in 2012.
Jeanne Stoll, RN, CFCE
I started teaching NFP in 1980. I was 23 then—a new mom with a whole life ahead of me. Even then I knew what I was doing was a lifetime of work. I am now a member, former Board Member, past Practitioner of the Year for the American Academy of FertilityCare™ Professionals (AAFCP).
Our ministry provides more than clinical information. I work with women and couples at their most intimate and vulnerable times. I present at high schools, seminaries and parishes. I help people to treat their bodies with respect and dignity, to appreciate the beauty of God’s gifts and design. If a person’s body isn’t working properly, we can direct her/him to the right medical treatment. Bringing this information to people’s attention is a great blessing. If someone needs me, I’ll go the extra mile. I’ll research until I find an answer. I’ll log extra hours and meet clients at the airport or wherever their car has broken down.
Donna A. Whiteley, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Director, ARCHway Institute
I have been a therapist for over 20 years and employed at Mercy Hospital since 1989. In 1998 I opened my private practice and still continue that work. About 10 years ago, FertilityCare™ Services approached me to initiate an infertility support group to enkindle hope within our couples. We began the Enkindle ministry to help them realize they are not alone. I have served in that capacity since that time.
Over the years I have been privileged to work with amazing individuals, couples, and families who have trusted me with their stories. Most of all I feel blessed that God has empowered me to serve His people.
Office Assistant III
I studied health education at Southern IL University and trained as a Community Health Worker at St. Louis Community College. I also served as an AmeriCorps member to improve health outcomes and address poverty in our country.
I am passionate about helping others improve their health and I enjoy the outdoors, yoga, and cooking. I'm always smiling and positive. My favorite part of this job is supporting others through the organization and promoting our fantastic health service.
