“Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations, proclaim that his name is exalted.” Is 12:4
Alive, a women’s witness ministry, brings Christ to others like
Mary who leads us to her son. Mary overshadowed by the Holy Spirit
bears Christ to the world. Our witness is to share the current of
grace, the Holy Spirit, with all women. Like Mary we are called to
serve others. The ministry invites each woman to participate in a
chosen outreach each breakfast. It is our joy to have our speaker
share the unique way Christ is alive in their life and like Mary we
hasten to serve others.
Please join us at the quarterly prayer breakfasts for Catholic women of the archdiocese of St. Louis. Share together the spirit of gratitude and woman's experience of the transforming love of Christ in her own life.
Come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
My name is Nancy Davis, and I am a wife, a mother of three girls, and a grandmother of 6. I am a Catholic, Spirit-filled Christian, who encountered the love of Christ in a deeper way when I was 33. Soon after that, I was led into serving in the Catholic Renewal, Marriage Encounter, St. Charles Birthright, Women's Breakfasts, and various parish-related ministries. I've been a stay-at-home mom for most of my marriage which gave me the freedom to volunteer in various capacities. I'm presently on the service team of the new Christ Alive! Women's Ministry, coordinating the catering and decorating for our breakfasts. My journey has also gone inward for healing and renewal of my own faith and freedom from life's hurts, and though my path has changed direction some, the Lord is ever present and active.
I'm excited to share my faith journey with you! My story can be summed up with the theme, "Lord, You are the Potter, and I am the clay." My journey has been one of coming into surrender and allowing God to be God of all! Through mountain-top joys and deep, sorrowful valleys I've learned of God's faithful, merciful, unconditional love and His steady Hand molding me into something useful for His purposes. I've learned that life, though unpredictable and uncontrollable, can be embraced fully by trusting God and His perfect design, especially when I can't see the results, that "all things are possible with God," and" His strength is sufficient in my weakness."
Come, let us glorify the Lord together and praise His Holy Name! Come, Holy Spirit!
