The Pontifical Mission Societies are a worldwide network at the service of the Holy Father to sustain the mission and the young Churches through prayer and charity.
"The four Societies - Propagation of the Faith, St. Peter the Apostle, Holy Childhood and the Missionary Union - have the common purpose of fostering a universal missionary spirit among the People of God... They bring to the Catholic world that spirit of universality and of service to the Church's mission, without which authentic cooperation does not exist." Pope St. John Paul II, Redemptoris Missio, 84

All Mission Testimonies
Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (national director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith from 1950 to 1966) developed the World Mission Rosary. Each of the five decades is a different color to represent areas of the world where the Church continues her evangelizing mission. Learn more by clicking here. Free pamphlets and world mission rosaries can be obtained through contacting our office. This pamphlet is also available in Spanish.
Seeking: Experienced Rosary Makers
Additionally, the Mission Office is seeking volunteers experienced in making corded World Mission Rosaries for our archdiocesan children. The office provides the materials in packs of 50 rosaries, and the volunteers work on their own, at their own pace. If you are able to help, or have questions about the project, please contact our office.
