
The Pontifical Mission Societies
The Pontifical Mission Societies are a worldwide network at the service of the Holy Father to support the mission and young Churches with prayer and charity.
Your generosity supports young Churches and missionaries around the world, living out Christ’s command, through prayer and sacrifice:
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Mt 28:19)

Pontifical Mission Societies
- Society for the Propagation of the Faith: Provides aid for the works of evangelization in mission dioceses, including pastoral and catechetical programs; the construction of churches, schools, and health centers; and transportation for priests.
- World Mission Sunday – Since 1926, an annual collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith held on the second-to-last Sunday of October.
- Daily World Missionaries – A special commitment to daily prayer and sacrifice for the work of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith.
- Missionary Childhood Association: Provides support for children in mission dioceses through Christian formation programs and education, as well as care for their basic needs and protection.
- Society of St. Peter the Apostle – Assists more than 80,000 seminarians and novices in their priestly and religious formation in mission dioceses.
Missionary Plan of Cooperation (MPC) – A visiting missionary program in which missionaries visit parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Select the parish where you heard the appeal in the dropdown, and your donation will go to that specific group.
