Mission
As faith leaders, the members of the Oikos Group aim to unite hearts and hands to rebuild St. Louis in the hope that that their partnership would be an ecumenical witness to Christian faith, love of neighbor and a model for collaboration across dividing lines
2023 Goal
Fundraise with a goal of $3-6 million to support the work of the Hearts Hands and Homes agencies which provide the following services to disenfranchised families in the region:
- affordable rental units
- wraparound social services to support stable housing
- first time homeownership programs
Catholic Charities Pathways to Progress provides intense, wrap-around case management services for two to four years while connecting to resources that enhance individual strengths, develop skills, and build financial assets which lead to empowering families toward stability and long-term economic independence
The FAM seeks to eliminate race as a factor in homeownership throughout St. Louis in one generation. We envision St. Louis as a global model of racial equity and economic opportunity by 2060
FT Holdings utilizes real estate development as a platform for revitalizing communities and providing community benefits through quality housing opportunities, education, social enterprise, technology and innovation and healthy food initiatives in targeted areas throughout the St. Louis Region.
St. Joseph Housing Initiative seeks to create vibrant communities through affordable quality housing where low- and moderate-income families can thrive , prosper, and build wealth.
Lutheran Development Group seeks to serve the areas around our city's churches through real-estate development, community initiatives, ministry investment, and church engagement.
Tabernacle Community Development Corporation assist communities by building people through engaging community revitalization in the Jeff-Vander-Lou, Fairgrounds, O’Fallon, & Greater Ville neighborhoods. Helping people to transform lives by providing quality housing options and stabilization resources.
