He studied at SLUH and Glennon Seminary; he entered the Jesuits in 2000 and was ordained in 2011. He earned an MA in communication at SLU and master's degrees [MDiv and STL] at Boston College. He has previously worked at White House Jesuit Retreat in St Louis, and Rockhurst High School in Kansas City. His book was published in September by Ave Maria Press, Notre Dame IN. There is no cost for the mission-retreat. A free-will offering will be asked each evening. If you wish to purchase a copy of Fr. Laramie’s book (highly recommended), the cost is $15.00 payable in advance and no later than March 10th.

St. Joseph Altar at St. Ambrose Parish on the HIll

The St. Joseph Altar will take place at St. Ambrose Parish on the Hill on Sunday, March 22, 2020. There will be an Italian Mass in St. Ambrose Church at 11:00 a.m. Right after Mass, there will be a short procession to the school, where the altars will be blessed and feasting will begin. The celebration will take place in the cafeteria and gym, where tables, chairs, buffet line and altar will be set up in each place. Many local restaurants and businesses donate food for the buffet, and items for sale on the altars. In addition, Italian specialties are prepared in the cafeteria kitchen by St. Joseph Altar committee members. This is an ancient Italian tradition that is authentically celebrated on the Hill. All are welcome. Admission to the altars is free. A thoughtful donation is requested for the buffet. The feast and sale of special items will be from 12:30 p.m. to around 3:30 p.m. All money raised goes to St. Ambrose School Tuition Assistance Program.


St. Joseph Altar at St. Ambrose Parish on the HIll

The St. Joseph Altar will be celebrated on March 15, 2020, beginning with a Mass in Italian in St. Ambrose Church at 11:00 a.m. After Mass, there will be a very short procession over to the school where the altars will be blessed, and the feasting will begin. This is an ancient Italian tradition honoring St. Joseph with baked goods and specialty items. Items will be for sale from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. There will be a buffet with generous food samples from the local restaurants. Admission to altars is free, but a thoughtful donation is requested for the buffet. All proceeds go to the St. Ambrose School Tuition Assistance Program. Super Bowl Sunday Quilt/Cash Bingo
