    SOCIAL JUSTICE SPEAKER SERIES

    Please join us Monday, Sept. 26, at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall, for the 5th session of our
    Social Justice Speaker Series featuring Deacon Andrew C. Daus, who has been a Deacon for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, since June 3 of 2000.

    He holds a Master’s Degree from Aquinas Institute of Theology.

    Deacon Daus’ talk will focus on Criminal Justice and the death penalty.

    As coordinator of the Inmate Hospice Volunteers at Potosi Correctional Center, he took part in visiting

    inmates in solitary confinement (all inmates who are to be executed will go to solitary confinement once the execution date is set.

    During his participation in this ministry, Deacon Daus, was asked by Jeffrey Ferguson to be present at his execution in October of 2014.

  • Dr. Larry Feingold talk on the Holy Eucharist 09/28/2022 Beginning in June of this year, the Bishops of the United States have declared three years of “Eucharistic Revival.” To kick that off here at Sacred Heart, we will be having Dr. Larry Feingold, a professor at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary and a popular author and speaker, come to speak on the great gift of the Holy Eucharist.     at 7pm. After the mass, confession and Catholic Renewal prayer teams will be available for prayer.

  • Depaul USA "No Place Like Home" 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk 10/01/2022

    The9th Annual Depaul USA “No Place Like Home” 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, October 1st in Tower Grove Park starting and finishing at the Sons of Rest Pavilion. 5K run begins at 9:00 a.m. and the 1 mile walk begins soon after. The event will benefit Depaul USA St. Louis, supporting people experiencing homelessness through our three supportive housing programs.
