  • St. Clement Garage Sale 05/31/2023

    Saint Clement of Rome Catholic Church is hosting a garage sale on Wednesday, May 31, from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Friday, June 2, from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and Saturday, June 3, from 8:00am to12:00pm. Preview night will be Tuesday, May 30, from 5:30-7:30pm at a cost of $10 per person. Sale proceeds will go to “Amigos for Christ,” a nonprofit organization that facilitates leadership, water, health, education, and economic development in rural Nicaraguan communities. This charity was selected because a St. Clement alumni, Nic Herrmann, has been living in Nicaragua and working with “Amigos for Christ” for the past five years.

    Donated items may be dropped off at St. Clement, 1510 Bopp Road, Des Peres 63131 on Saturday, May 27, from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Sunday, May 28, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and Monday, May 29, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. No items should be left on premises outside of donation hours.

    Suitable items for donation are small working appliances and lamps, dishes, gently used linens and rugs, indoor and outdoor furniture, holiday, home and floral decorations, arts and craft items, bikes, tools, baby/children’s clothes, toys and supplies.

    Please be sure all items are in good working condition. Do not donate televisions, computers/components, outdated electronics, mattresses, encyclopedias, old exercise equipment, or adult clothing.

    WHAT: The Chosen-The critically acclaimed series about the life of Jesus and the apostles and others who followed him. It's a fresh view of the Gospels.

    WHO: The Chosen is appropriate for adults and kids. Bring your family and your friends!

    WHEN: Wednesdays at 8pm (the field opens at 7:30) from May 31-July 26 (no showing on July 5). Each episode lasts about an hour.

    WHERE: The Fields at SFA-located on the ball fields by the concession stand (parish center if inclement weather). Bring your own chairs or blankets.

    Come and see this wonderful series for the first time or watch it again-you'll find the show relatable and the message something to think about.
