Totus Tuus missionaries needed

The Office of Youth Ministry is seeking five college-aged young adults to serve as summer missionaries with the Totus Tuus program. Missionaries will be trained and sent out in teams of four around the Archdiocese of St. Louis to lead catechetical programming for youth. Evangelization talk

Ed Hogan, academic dean and associate professor of systematic theology at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, will give a talk, “Evangelization 102: Strategies for Evangelization and Consecrating the World to God,” from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Mary Queen of Peace Parish, 676 W. Lockwood Ave. in Webster Groves, as part of the Made for More Speaker Series. The talk will be held in the Lubeley Room, located on the bottom floor of the rectory.

The Next Chapter

The Next Chapter Program is a six-month program for people who are approaching retirement or who are recently retired. The program assists individuals who are discerning who God is calling them to be and what God is calling them to do in their next chapter of life. The program is grounded in Ignatian spirituality and is sponsored by the Office of Ignatian Spirituality of the Jesuits USA Central & Southern Province. The next cohort will begin in October. Information sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 13, and Wednesday, June 5, at Mercy Conference and Retreat Center, 2039 Geyer Road in Frontenac. Theology of Dance

Theology of Dance - STL will host an evening of West Coast swing dance on Saturday, May 18, in the parish hall at St. Mary Magdalen, 4924 Bancroft Ave. in St. Louis. Guest speaker is Theology of Dance founder Matt Mordini, who will present at 6:30 p.m. on “Following Christ in the Music of the Holy Spirit.” His talk will be followed by a West Coast swing dance lesson at 7 and a social dance at 7:30. Birthright Run for Life and Learning

Birthright St. Louis’ 23rd annual Run for Life and Learning will take place Saturday, June 1, at Creve Coeur Lake Park. The event will include a chip-timed 6K run/walk, 1 mile run/walk and and 1/4 mile youth run with FredBird. Register by May 15 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
