My ministries included teaching high school for 30 years, serving in vocation and formation ministry and two terms on our leadership team. In my free time, I enjoy visiting friends and family, working with house plants, being out in nature, feeding and observing hummingbirds, watching Cardinals baseball and pencil drawing. About Sister Julia Marie Wolf: I am grateful to God for being called to our Precious Blood Community and love being sacristan here in O’Fallon and being helpful to the sisters and anyone and everyone who needs help. My dad gave me a love of nature: walking in woods, listening to birds and seeing tiny spring wildflowers pop up. My mom grew flowers and plants of all kinds and I enjoy making bouquets to give to sisters in the Abbey. Making fudge to give away is a joy, and making others laugh is a special joy. I feel very blessed for my family, and gatherings with them are always special. I am thankful to God for the call to Bolivia for 37 years and keep in touch with sisters and friends there on WhatsApp. Connecting with family and friends by phone and texting is a favorite activity. Baking, making cards and string rosaries are hobbies, as well as trying new things. All is gift!
