About Father Bernard L. Carlin: Almost all of my priestly ministry has been divided between parish ministry and the internal ministry of formation work, i.e. guiding young men toward discerning the call to religious life and/or the priesthood. I have thoroughly enjoyed these many years of ministry and have been greatly blessed by the countless number of lives that I was privileged to be touched by! I look forward to many more years of service in the Vineyard of the Lord — wherever, and with whomever, that might be!

About Father John Phelps: I am the second of eight children, born of Ray and Margaret Phelps. I went to St. Matthew Parish in St. Louis and St. Rita Parish in Vinita Park. I loved sports, especially soccer. I enjoy theater — film and live — along with traveling on vacation to famous tourist locations in Europe, such as Lourdes, Fatima, Munich, Naples and Rome. I remain president and CEO of Life Directions, which has shared solid life values and virtues with more than 170,000 young adults ages 13-35 and is celebrating 50 years of reaching at-risk youth, young adults and families in Detroit and Chicago.
