About Sister Mary Elizabeth Brungardt: Above all, I love living life in the Paschal mystery: the Passion/suffering, crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ to the praise of His glory. I have held just about every position in the Monastery, including cook and mistress of the prayer guild and the novitiate. I really love my current duties of vocation directress. I am the cloistered nun who gave testimonial witness before thousands of youth at the Kiel Center when Pope St. John Paul II was here in, 1999. There I made it known that I offered my vocational call for the prayerful intention of bringing a halt to abortions and the culture of death. I truly love cloistered, contemplative living. God is so good to me and knows I love the joys of simple living which are plentiful in the cloister. For me these joys include nature walks, fellowship and historical and hagiographical books. Most especially, I enjoy praying for you!
