What is #iGiveCatholic?

#iGiveCatholic is a giving day event for the faithful from participating dioceses across the nation (and the world!) to unite and donate – both online and offline – to their favorite participating Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries. #iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics to support the organizations they are most passionate about on #GivingTuesday, and for our parishes, schools, and ministries to raise funds for a capital improvement, their annual fund, or another project of their choosing.

What is #GivingTuesday?

#GivingTuesday is an annual day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Who can participate?

All 501(c)(3) Catholic parishes, schools, ministries, and other not-for-profit Catholic organizations in the Archdiocese of St. Louis are invited to participate! There is no cost to participate – registration fees are paid by the Annual Catholic Appeal and are a gift from Archbishop Rozanski.

How does it work?

#iGiveCatholic provides searchable giving pages for parishes, schools, and ministries affiliated with the participating arch/dioceses/foundations nationwide. Anyone can donate to their favorite ministries during the Giving Day and all online donations will be processed through iGiveCatholic.org.

How do I register my organization?

Organizations can now begin applying for participation in the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day. We encourage those interested organizations to complete your application by visiting https://stl.igivecatholic.org/ and by clicking the APPLY NOW button.  The application process is very simple and only takes a few minutes to complete. Detailed instructions to help guide you through the process are available at the link below.

Should you have questions or issues at ANY stage of the registration process, The GiveGab Customer Success Team will be able to assist you and are on call Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4 pm Central Time. The quickest resolution will be for you to click on the blue chat bubble in the bottom-right hand corner of the #iGiveCatholic website and enter your question or issue. I've applied, now what?

Two live training sessions are offered and there are pre-recorded training webinars available in the Trainings section of the main iGiveCatholic.org website. If you missed the live webinars, recordings of these sessions will also be available.

A toolkit to help organizations get started is also available in the Resources section.

Additional resources will also be forwarded to participating organizations in the days leading up to the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day on November 30, 2021.
