Saint Louis Cathedral Concerts

Saint Louis Cathedral Concerts kicks off its 2023-24 season with Voices of St. Alphonsus, directed by Danny DuMaine, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. Other concerts include VOCES8, Oct. 20; Vienna Boys Choir, Nov. 13; Christmas at the Cathedral with the St. Louis Archdiocesan Choirs and Orchestra, Dec. 2-3; Missouri State University Chorale, Jan. 12; North City Deanery Choir, Feb. 2; St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Feb. 28; Chanticleer, April 8; and The Boston Camerata, April 19. SEEK preview

The Archdiocese of St. Louis and FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) will offer a free SEEK Conference preview, SEEK First, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at St. Louis University High School. Featured speakers will be Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski and FOCUS founder Curtis Martin. Pope Francis recently appointed Martin a consultor for the Vatican’s Dicastery for Evangelization. Vocations with the SSNDs

The North American Vocation Team of the School Sisters of Notre Dame is hosting an online “Joyful & Alive Conversation” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, via Zoom. Single women ages 18-45 interested in discovering God’s invitations in their life and/or who are curious about religious life are invited to attend and bring questions. Katy Trail pilgrimage

Father Timothy Foy will lead a pilgrimage along the Katy Trail from Oct. 9-13. The pilgrimage is meant to be an offering to God through the guidance of Mary and will cover 53 miles over five days. Pilgrims will begin at Immaculate Conception in Augusta and will visit Our Lady of Lourdes in Washington, St. Vincent de Paul in Dutzow, St. Ignatius in Concord Hill, St. Anthony’s Mission near Hermann, the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Starkenburg and Church of the Risen Savior in Rhineland. There will be daily Mass, time for adoration and confession, prayer time and fellowship in addition to the quiet miles on the trail. Registration is due by Sept. 29. Fed names Student Board of Directors

Margaret Baker of Cor Jesu Academy and Grayson Stevenson of St. Louis University High School were among 20 high school seniors named to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis’ Student Board of Directors for the 2023-24 school year. Students were chosen through a competitive application process, which includes an essay and letters of recommendation. Students meet monthly to gain a thorough understanding of the Federal Reserve’s role in the U.S. economy and learn about its unique partnerships with banks, businesses and the community.
