  • Saturday, January 18, Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis; Bishop Mark Rivituso Celebrating

Join the Respect Life Apostolate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis for the 2025 Roe v. Wade Memorial Mass to ask God to end abortion in Missouri and the U.S., honor those lost to abortion, pray for those wounded by abortion in need of healing, and commit to building a “culture of life and love” (Evangelium Vitae).

Starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 18 at the Cathedral Basilica, the special Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Mark Rivituso and priests of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Mass collection will benefit the LifeLine Coalition, a network of local agencies that directly assist and serve pregnant and parenting mothers and their children. The Holy Rosary and a reception in Boland Hall will follow Mass. To learn more, contact 314.792.7555, prolife@archstl.org or STLRespectLife.org.

  • The Respect Life Apostolate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis invites you to join us in peaceful prayer and witness at the First Saturday Rosary for Life on January 4. With abortions likely resuming at this location, the people of God will be united, present and praying. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. on the sidewalk outside the abortion facility for a pro-life Rosary with meditations and other prayers until approximately 10:30 a.m.

You are encouraged to carpool, and park mindfully as this is a high-traffic, carefully monitored area even on the weekends. Parking along Boyle is recommended. If you cannot join us in person, we invite you to unite in prayer by praying the Rosary from wherever you are.

  • On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, St. Louis Catholics and those across the country are uniting for the National Night of Prayer for Life for the 35th consecutive year. On Sunday evening, December 8 into the early morning hours of December 9, Archdiocese of St. Louis parishes will be praying for our “nation to renew its commitment to live the Gospel of Life.” (Times and prayer format vary per location).

Originating in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York in 1989, what started out as a local parish prayer initiative has now grown into a coast-to-coast event involving 700-plus parishes, Knights of Columbus chapters and other pro-life and Catholic organizations. The founders credit the intercession of Mary for its growth, specifically under her titles of the Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Click here to learn more.

  • Each month since January 2000, the Archdiocese of St. Louis has held a pro-life Mass & Rosary on the third Saturday established in St. Louis in January 2000, is a peaceful, prayerful life-saving ministry that meets on the third Saturday of every month.

The prayer vigil begins with Saturday morning Mass followed by the Holy Rosary.
