  • Join us in thanking God for His precious gift of life and in praying for pregnant mothers and their preborn children. This month’s Archdiocesan Pro-life Mass and Rosary will be held Saturday, February 21 at Assumption (Mattese) located at 4725 Mattis Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Mass begins at 8 a.m. with the Rosary immediately following.

  • The Respect Life Apostolate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis invites you to join us in peaceful prayer and witness at the First Saturday Rosary for Life on Febrary 7. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. on the sidewalk outside the St. Louis abortion facility for a pro-life Rosary with meditations and other prayers until approximately 10:15 a.m.

You’re welcome to stay for additional prayer and hospitality at Our Lady of Guadalupe Covent right after. We appreciate the Salesian Sisters of Mary Immaculate for their generous welcome. Thank you to Fr. Mark Madden who will lead us in prayer in February.

The address is 4251 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108. Carpooling and parking along Boyle is encouraged in this high-traffic, carefully monitored area. If you can’t join us in person, please unite with us in prayer from wherever you are.

  • On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, St. Louis Catholics and those across the country are uniting for the National Night of Prayer for Life for the 36th consecutive year. Starting Monday evening, December 8 into December 9, Archdiocese of St. Louis parishes will be praying for our “nation to renew its commitment to live the Gospel of Life.” Dates, times, and prayer format vary per church.

Originating in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York in 1989, what started out as a local parish prayer initiative has now grown into a coast-to-coast event involving 700-plus parishes, Knights of Columbus chapters and other pro-life and Catholic organizations. The founders credit the intercession of Mary for its growth, specifically under her titles of the Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The four-fold prayer of each monthly pro-life prayer event is for: upholding the dignity of preborn children; moms, couples, and families facing unexpected pregnancy; those caught up in the abortion industry to embrace the Gospel of Life; and those wounded by abortion to receive healing. If your parish would like to host one of our prayer events in 2026, please contact madeleineappelbaum@archstl.org or 314.792.7598.
