Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis

The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis is the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, located in the Central West End of the City of St. Louis. The Cathedral Basilica also serves as a Catholic parish whose membership roster includes Catholic families and individuals residing within its boundaries as well as many others from the metropolitan area. With the grace of God, the parish endeavors to nourish the spiritual life of its parishioners, neighbors, and visitors. As the liturgical heart of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, the Cathedral Basilica gathers the clergy, religious, and lay faithful for the celebration of the sacraments. In addition to gathering for Sacred Worship, its members extend the hand of Christ to its neighbors through the Spiritual and Corporal works of Mercy. We extend Christ’s welcome to all visitors who come from near and far to encounter His merciful love expressed in the mosaics and architectural grandeur of this sacred house of worship.
