Cultivating a Catholic Culture of Matrimony
In the summer of 2021, the Bishops of the United States realized that although the Catholic Church has built very successful Pre-Cana programs in most dioceses, they have not created structures and applied resources to develop methods to nourish married couples after they are married.
Realizing that married couples and families are the central cell of a Parish and Diocese, and the heart of the New Evangelization, they challenged each other as Bishops to develop ways and means to assist Catholic couples throughout the various stages of their married and family life.
The Culture of Matrimony Vision and Mission:
How will Jubilant Marriages Help?
We envision a new movement of Catholic married couples who thrive with faith and fortitude, grace and joy in their marriages. And when couples face trials, they know where to go for information, resources, and relational support.
The Jubilant Marriages initiative is focused on experienced-based, sacramentally-grounded, solutions for the challenges couples face during each season of life.
