St. Louis Review calendar events

Submitting text

It is important to paste your text as plain text. Otherwise there may be some coding included with the text that will cause the text to display differently, and in extreme cases, delete some of the text.

Is there a cost to publish my event?

The St. Louis Review does not charge for posting calendar events to the website. Calendar events will be published in the printed edition of the St. Louis Review for no charge as space allows. Events on both St. Louis Review and Archdiocese of St. Louis website are subject to approval.

Why does it say I don't have access to submit an event?

Users must be logged in to submit a calendar event posting. If you do not have an account, please contact Stephen Kempf

Why are there two contact fields?

The two groups (Submitter Information and Event Information) are used for different things.

The first few fields, under the Submitter Information header, will not be displayed. Those are only in case the Review needs to contact the submitter for some reason. This person may or may not be the point of contact for interested attendees. If you are logged in with a personal account, some of this information may be filled in already.

Underneath, the Event Information header is all the fields that will display on the website. So that can be specific (Jane Smith, [email protected], 314 xxx-xxxx) or general (Parish Office, [email protected] etc). Whichever you prefer.

Using preset locations:

For events being held at a parish or school of the archdiocese, you may click the appropriate button (parish, school or other location), then use the drop down field below to automatically fill in the location information, including address. In some situations, using this may also permit the event to show up in other places on the website, beyond the events listing page

Where will my event show up?

After approval, all events will show up on the St. Louis Review events page. Only events hosted by parishes, parochial or archdiocesan schools and archdiocesan agencies will be published on the Archdiocese of St. Louis events page.

If you have any further questions, please contact Stephen Kempf or email [email protected].
