The Annual Gospel of Life Prayer Breakfast will be hosted by the St. Louis Chapter of Legatus on Friday, April 28, at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton, 100 Carondelet Plaza. The program will begin with the Regina Coeli and the Rosary at 6 a.m., followed by Mass celebrated by Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski, a full-service hot breakfast, and the keynote address by Peggy Forrest, President and CEO of Our Lady's Inn Maternity Homes.
Peggy serves on the boards of directors for St Louis City’s Continuum of Care and the Maternity Housing Coalition, a national coalition of maternity homes under the auspices of Heartbeat International. She is active in the Missouri Alliance for Life and has offered testimony before state legislative committees on prolife legislation and on issues affecting families served by pregnancy help organizations.
Peggy received the Order of St. Louis the King Award from Archbishop Carlson in recognition of her service to the Church. She holds the position of Dame of the Grand Cross in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem; is an active member of the Order of Malta-American Association; and has served on the boards of Fontbonne University, The Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation, Kennedy Catholic High School, the Archdiocese of St Louis Annual Catholic Appeal, and the Archdiocesan Finance Council. She has volunteered with several agencies serving the unhoused community in St Louis and with the CRUDEM Foundation at its Hospital Sacre Coeur in Milo, Haiti.
The event will conclude around 9 a.m. with a final blessing.
