OBITUARY | Sr. Nadine D. Peloso, OSSR

Sr. Peloso
A funeral Mass was celebrated for Sister Nadine D. Peloso Dec. 28 at the Redemptoristine Chapel at Liguori. Sister Nadine died Dec. 24 at St. Andrews at Francis Place in Eureka. She was 91 and a member of the Redemptoristine Nuns.

Born Feb. 6, 1926, in Port Huron, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Mary Sophia (nee Marigold) and Thomas J. Peloso Sr.

She was professed as a religious sister for more than 70 years, first as an Immaculate Heart of Mary Sister in 1946 in Monroe, Mich. After serving as a teacher for more than 20 years, she felt the call to contemplative life and joined the Redemptoristine Nuns at Liguori in 1967.

Survivors include a sister, Suzanne Mrozek of Fort Gratiot, Mich., and a brother, Thomas J. Peloso Jr. of Detroit. Burial was in the Redemptorist Cemetery at Liguori.
