About Father Norbert Raszeja: Born and raised in Chicago, Father Raszeja met the Congregation of the Resurrection in the parishes and schools there. After attending a Resurrectionist high school in Chicago, Father Raszeja entered novitiate and went to profess vows of chastity, poverty and obedience in the USA province of the congregation on September 8, 1964. He then completed undergraduate and seminary studies in St. Louis and was ordained a priest April 8, 1972, in Chicago. In the summer of 2005, Father Raszeja was elected the 18th superior general of the Congregation of the Resurrection (2005-11), which called upon him to support and visit resurrectionists throughout the world. On May 14-15, 2022, he celebrated his golden jubilee of priesthood.
