About Father Wilfred Lowery: Father Lowery left a lasting legacy in Thailand, where he arrived just three years after the first Redemptorist missionaries were sent from the former St. Louis Province. Notable appointments in his 25 years of service include serving as the third vice-provincial of Thailand and vicar general of the Udonthani Diocese. After returning to the United States, he directed fundraising efforts for the foreign missions, and continued to serve Thai immigrant communities.
