Immacolata Catholic School is seeking a passionate, compassionate, and certified teacher for our preschool program for the 2021-22 school year. Immacolata School is a preschool-8th grade Catholic elementary school within the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Interested candidates should have a desire to be part of a strong overall Prek-8th grade educational community. A preschool teacher needs to be able to work in a collaborative environment in conjunction with our other preschool teachers and aides. Preschool teachers work with young children to teach basic skills such as colors, letter and number recognition, shapes, social skills and faith development. They work alongside preschool staff to develop interactive learning programs that are fun and educational for young children. Strong communication skills are necessary to communicate with parents to ensure they are meeting expectations for their children’s educational and developmental needs. A successful candidate will have skills and qualifications to perform the required duties, including the ability to effectively instruct young children, patience and communication skills with young children and the ability to adjust teaching methods to meet different learning styles and developmental needs. Candidates must have a state certification for early childhood education. Qualified candidates should cover letter, resume and references to Dr. Jen Stutsman at [email protected].
