Liturgy Coordinator

Most Sacred Heart Parish (MSH) in Eureka is a rapidly growing congregation looking for a Liturgy Coordinator to assist 20-30hours per week, varying with the Church Calendar. The Liturgy Coordinator has the responsibility to collaborate with the other members of the liturgical team to help ensure our Masses and various liturgical events are well planned. This person will sometimes work with others and sometimes work alone. Attention to detail and the ability to follow assigned steps will help you flourish. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with coordinating Masses and other worship events so they are well-planned and are celebrated in a way that encourages maximum participation
  • Ensures the environment for our liturgical celebrations is appropriate for the season, as well as for MSH special occasions
  • Communicates effectively with all team members in planning and implementing such gatherings

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Organize weekly ministry schedules and follow up with reminders to our ministers oft heir commitment
  • Prepare the church for our weekend and Holy Day Masses, as well as for weekday events/activities as needed
  • Assist with audio and video technology to facilitate in-person & online worship/recordings
  • Work with ministry coordinators and support their efforts to grow and train new ministers
  • Arrange tables, chairs, and other furniture for church services and some weekday/weekend activities
  • Other tasks as assigned
