Head Boys Football Coach - Qualifications: State teaching certificate (Highly Preferred), Five years of teaching experience at any level (Highly Preferred), Bachelor’s degree (As required by MSHSAA if the applicant does not possess a state teaching certificate), Three years of experience as the head coach of a college, high school football or similar program, Two years of experience participating in a college or high school football program. Responsibility: To develop and maintain an efficient and competitive boys football program. Evidence of the ability to: Articulate and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the St. Louis Archdiocese and Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School. Act in a Christian-like manner at all times and promote good sportsmanship. Follow and support the National Federation of High School Sports, the MSHSAA, NCAA, and NAIA bylaws and guidelines to promote interscholastic sports. Assist the AD in coordinating all aspects of the program included, but not limited to scheduling activities, fundraising, development of the boy's football budget, travel arrangements, team awards, and recognitions. Provide leadership, supervise, instruct and evaluate all assistant coaches within the program. Maintain a safe and orderly environment for players, coaches, and other stakeholders. Coordinates the overall practice schedule for the boy's football program. Demonstrate the ability to develop leadership, responsibility, sportsmanship, and other positive qualities in program participants. Use Microsoft Office 2010 or newer.
