Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, a vibrant suburban parish of 2000 households in St. Peters, MO, is seeking a Director of Liturgical Music. This is a full-time position which includes both evening and weekend hours.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess and demonstrate excellent skills as both an organist and a pianist;
• Have experience leading and working with cantors, choirs, students, and other musicians of various ages;
• Be familiar with a diverse musical repertoire that is taken from both traditional and contemporary liturgical music;
• Demonstrate a proficiency in using technology and multimedia communication.

The applicant must be a practicing Catholic and possess at least a bachelor’s degree in liturgy or liturgical music and three years’ ministerial experience in a pastoral setting. Salary and benefits are based on the scale recommended by the Archdiocese of St. Louis and other professional organizations. The church has a newly installed Viscount Hybrid organ and a Kawai Artist Grand Piano. A more detailed job description will be made available upon request.
