Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant for the Catholic Student Center (CSC) at Washington University will

help drive the mission of the CSC by providing administrative and logistical support for the Executive

Director, and the Directors of Operations, Ministry and Advancement. This role will have dual reporting to the Executive and Director of Operations and will work in collaboration with the broader CSC staff and community.


Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Administrative support for the Executive Director.

•Schedule appointments and manage calendar.

•Book business and personal travel.

•Prepare and manage correspondence and provide dictation service.

•Manage expense reports and Clergy expense reimbursement.


Provide Administrative support for the Directors of Operations, Ministry and Advancement.

•Schedule appointments and manage calendars.

•Plan and schedule donor related meetings, events and activities.

•Provide administrative support to the Ministry team.


Provide operations support to the CSC.

•Welcome guests to the CSC.

•Manage federal student work-study program.

•Manage bill payments.

•Process payroll.

•Oversee weekly collection.

•Support human resource functions.

•Provide meeting and event logistical support.

•Maintain office and chapel materials.

•Oversee requests for weddings, baptisms and other sacraments.

•Manage weddings, baptisms and other sacraments

•Support logistics for the Easter program.

•Other duties as assigned.

•Highly detailed and task oriented.

•Outstanding interpersonal and relational skills.

•Strong problem solving, organization, and multitasking skills.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Maintains the highest sensitivity to professional ethics, confidentiality and diversity, treating all people equally and respectfully.

•Collaborative yet able to work independently and exercise good judgment in a variety of situations including fast paced, time sensitive or high-pressure situations.

•Experienced administrative support for leadership team members.

•Proficient in MS Office programs and Google suite.

•General software fluency required; willing to learn new software, as needed.

•Familiarity with the sacramental law of the Church is a plus.

•Supports the mission and values of the Catholic Church; Practicing Catholic is preferred.
