SUMMARY:Life-Giving Wounds Retreat
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThe mission of this retreat is to bring God’s healing to adults whose parents have divorced or separated. \nA Life-Giving Wounds retreat hopes to be a significant turning point in your ongoing healing journey. With the help of our merciful Father\, we hope to help retreatants see how their life-draining wounds can be transformed into life-giving resources of faith\, hope\, love\, and joy\, even in the deepest suffering. \nOn this 3 day (Friday evening – Sunday afternoon) retreat you will experience: \n\nPresentations by trained retreat leaders\nGuided small group discussions with peers\nGuided\, silent journaling sessions\nPrayer and sacraments\n\nRetreat presentations will cover the following topics: \n\nPersonal identity & relationship with God\nTrust & relationships (dating and marriage)\nNavigating anger and anxiety\nForgiveness\nUnderstanding redemptive suffering\nPersonal experience of gratitude and joy\n\n  \nPrice:\n$100 (for all participants attending) \nWhen:\nAugust 7-9\, 2026 \nWhere:\nSt. Joseph Catholic Church\, Callahan Hall\n355 Motherhead Rd\, Cottleville\, MO 63304 \n  \nSpace is limited to 30 attendees. Transportation is not included.\n\n\nCan a divorced parent attend to learn how to help their child?\nUnfortunately\, the retreat is limited to children of divorce.
