SUMMARY:Rite of Naming and Commendation
DESCRIPTION:Jointly developed by the archdiocesan Office of Worship and the RLA\, this rite is designed to meet the needs of parents whose child(ren) died prior to birth because of miscarriage\, accident\, or abortion. It allows the family to acknowledge the reality of that brief but cherished life\, identify the child by name\, and commend them in faith to the loving mercy of God. \nThe next opportunities to participate in a Rite of Naming and Commendation will be: Sunday May 17 at Immaculate Conception (Dardenne) after the 10:15am Mass.
