Thank you for expressing interest in a religious education leadership position for a parish/school of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. This is a special ministry which requires spiritual, educational and administrative gifts to help the parish fulfill its mission of total Catholic education. The St. Louis Archdiocese offers a rich diversity in the character and organizational structure of its parishes and missions, in the city, county and rural areas. Many of these parishes support a Catholic elementary school as well as a parish school of religion for children from the public school.  Many also offer programs for other age-levels and groups, including faith development of adults, youth ministry, pre-school age programs, catechumenate programs, sacramental preparation programs, Liturgy-of-the-Word for Children, Vacation Bible School, etc.  Some parishes look for a Director of Religious Education (DRE) to direct some or all of these efforts, and other parishes hire a part-time or full-time Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) to coordinate one or more of these ministries.

Applications and forms may be found below.

Teacher:

The teacher application is for education position sin the elementary and secondary schools of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  Completed application packets are kept on file at the Education HR Office and are made available to principals, pastors  and others seeking qualified education employees.
