76 in 40 days

St. Patrick Center's recent 40 in 40 Housing Challenge resulted in the end of homelessness for 76 clients and their families. The initiative sought to move 40 clients and their families into housing over a 40-day period. Donations included items for 19 move-in kits, 61 new mattresses and bed frames and $5,600 to purchase furniture vouchers in partnership with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. St. Patrick Center and Biddle Housing Opportunities Center, along with multiple partner agencies in the St. Louis City and County Continua of Care collaborated to move the clients into homes.

Chaminade College Preparatory School's 17th Annual Scholarship Luncheon was held in the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Life Center where almost 150 Chaminade students and their benefactors got acquainted over lunch and dessert. The endowed scholarship program at Chaminade distributed $396,698 this year, and more than $400,000 is to be awarded for next year. Several new scholarships were awarded to students in the upcoming academic year including the 2nd Lt. Samuel Anderson Diehl '11 Scholarship and the Lt. Col. James J.
