On Saturday, October 15, join the Respect Life Apostolate (RLA) for an inspirational and educational day “Walking with Families in Dignity & Love” at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel St. Louis. During the 46th Annual Convention, learn the latest from local, state, and national pro-life and Catholic leaders. The Convention begins at 10:30 a.m. with the “How We Minister in a Post-Dobbs World” panel, followed by our keynote address, awards luncheon, afternoon breakout sessions, and concluding with the Vigil Mass celebrated by the Most Rev. The Rite of Naming and Commendation emphasizes the Church’s respect for human life from the moment of conception. On Sunday, Oct 23rd, Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne will be hosting a Rite of Naming and Commendation following the noon Mass. The Holy Eucharist - A Talk by Dr. Larry Feingold

The 2022 Archdiocesan Red Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a reception in Boland Hall. The Most Reverend Mark Seitz of the Diocese of El Paso will serve as homilist. As a prelate serving a borderland community whose sister city is Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, the bishop has focused his work on the poor and vulnerable, including migrant families and refugees. Bishop Seitz was elected chairman-elect of the Committee on Migration and Refugee Services for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in 2021. His appointment as chairman takes effect in November 2022. The Red Mass is celebrated annually for judges, prosecutors, attorneys, law school professors and students, and government officials.
