Annual Catholic Appeal
“The desire for God and the longing for happiness is written in the human heart. Through Baptism this desire and longing finds the grace to welcome the gift of faith. As Catholics we are proud to profess it and are ready to share it.” —Archbishop Raymond L. Burke
Our faith is lived in schools and parishes, soup kitchens and counseling centers, on street corners and in churches, where people of all backgrounds in every neighborhood of the Archdiocese of St. Louis are served.
Your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal helps support the necessary financial needs of our schools, parishes and programs in the Archdiocese. Your gift touches the lives of the unborn, the student, the infirmed, the elderly, the widow, the homeless and those suffering from injustice.

Annual Catholic Appeal - Serving Others
“This is our faith. This is the faith of the Church. We are proud to profess it in Christ Jesus, our Lord.” – Rite for the Celebration of Baptism
What does the Annual Catholic Appeal have to do with Baptism? At our Baptism, God’s grace enters into our lives, and the gift of faith is given to us.
When we experience something that is good, we are driven to share it with others. When we enjoy a movie, do we say to ourselves, “That was really good. In fact, it was so good, I hope none of my friends see it.”

Come, There Is Work to Be Done

Stewardship Awareness Sunday was established in the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 2001 as a time for all parishes to both recognize and encourage good stewardship. On March 12, 2008 Archbishop Raymond Burke addressed the entire Archdiocesan Curia on the subject of stewardship and he reiterated the important role Stewardship Awareness Sunday has in our Archdiocese.
"We celebrate Stewardship Awareness Sunday every year in September. It is our time to examine the qualities of stewardship in our lives and to rededicate ourselves to following Christ as good stewards of God's manifold gifts."

Charitable Gift Annuities
Fixed Annual Returns Depending on Age
A Gift Annuity is a contractual arrangement between a donor and a charity whereby the charity agrees to make fixed periodic payments to one or two individuals (annuitants) in exchange for money or assets transferred to the charity. The donor is usually the only annuitant or one of the two annuitants. Typically, the periodic payments are made until the death of the annuitant (or the survivor of the two annuitants). From the donor’s perspective, the transaction is both an establishment of an annuity and a charitable contribution.
