    Bring the whole family to join the Sodality of the Most Sacred Heart on Friday, April 5, 2024, 4:30p.m. - 7:30p.m., as we honor and offer reparation to Our Lord's Most Sacred Heart during Adoration, Reconciliation, and Holy Mass.     The Book Fair will held at the St. Matthias Parish Center.

    Saturday April 6th. Doors open at 9:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM.

    St. Matthias is located at 800 Buckley Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125

    Thousands of books, music, movies, puzzles, games and more!

    Books from $.50 to $2.00. Children’s books $1.00 per inch.

    Rare books may be priced slightly higher.

    Music and movies from $0.25 to $2.00.

    Teachers are welcome from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm to gather

    books for their classrooms at no charge.

    Large paking lot is handicapped accessible.

    Concessions will be available.

    We will accept cash, check or credit cards.

His talk is entitled, "The Importance of Music in Worship." Father has invited several of his musician friends to demonstrate the different styles and purpose of music in the liturgy. Following Jesus in Freedom and Love is a retreat offered by Fr. James Mason as a Lenten study, designed to help form individuals and parishes in this understanding of one’s identity and mission. The virtual platform of this retreat allows the faithful to participate at home, as a parish mission, or in private groups. The videos in this series, with accompanying study guides, are designed to help one grow in one’s relationship with Christ and understand our own personal, unique mission to walk with Christ in an apostolic age. In this, we can have trust, joy, and great hope.

This retreat can be conducted in the following ways:

  • In the Parish (on a weekly Mission or as a Day of Recollection)*
  • Small Groups (at home or video conferencing)*
  • At Home (as a family, spouses, or individually)
