The film Unplanned will be shown in the Parish Center at St. Catherine Laboure Parish. Unplanned is the story of the conversion of Abbey Johnson, who was a rising star at Planned Parenthood—until she witnessed an abortion. The movie is not graphic, but the subject matter is for mature audiences.
When an infant dies prior to their birth due to miscarriage, an accident, or for some other reason, the Order for the Naming and Commendation of an Infant Who Died Before Birth seeks to set the death of an infant within the context of faith, and to unite the grieving parent/s, grandparents, and other family members to the merciful God, whose love was revealed to us in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
St. Cletus Church will be offering this rite during the 8:00 am Mass on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
All who have suffered the loss of an infant before birth recently or years ago are welcome to attend and receive consolation, peace, and hope.
