Sr. SullivanA funeral Mass for Sister Jean Marie Sullivan, RSM, was celebrated July 19 at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood.
Sister Jean Marie, 84, died July 8 at Mercy Hospital. Born in University City, she entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1952.
Sister Jean Marie served in many leadership roles, including at the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Mercy Hospital and congregational leadership with the Sisters of Mercy. In addition, she also ministered at Mercy High School, Mercita Hall, Mercy Novitiate, and Mid America Transplant Services.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
