Latin America Apostolate Collection: August 3-4, 2013

“Missionaries of Faith in the Year of Faith”. Since 1956, the Archdiocese of St. Louis has sent its own priests as missionaries to La Paz, Bolivia in South America as part of our Latin America Apostolate. As part of this year’s annual appeal and collection, we honor our very own missionaries of faith who serve in Bolivia. We also send our prayers with Archbishop Robert J. Carlson, who will be dedicating a chapel in Bolivia on August 4th, the date of our collection.

ase help us to continue this extraordinary missionary work by giving to your parish collection on August 3rd and 4th. Our St. Louis priest missionaries in Bolivia depend on our prayers and support. Thank you!

Immaculate Conception PSR in Park Hills Creates Rosaries

Immaculate Conception PSR in Park Hills recently created 101 handmade rosaries for our missions in Bolivia! The project has become a Lenten tradition for the PSR class. Msgr. Blood recently visited the parish and thanked the students for their generosity.

Fr. Patrick Hayden, pastor of Maria Reina Parish in La Paz, will soon be taking the rosaries back down to Bolivia, where he will distribute them.

Special thanks to Immaculate Conception PSR for the beautiful rosaries!
