As Catholics in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, in communion with the Bishop of Rome, we are called by our Lord Jesus Christ to be His Church and live His Gospel. With joy, we strive to fulfill our Baptismal calling by prayer and worship, teaching and sharing our faith, serving others, and fostering unity in diversity. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to the responsible stewardship of all God's gifts.

 The Archdiocese of Saint Louis is eagerly anticipating the announcement of our next Archbishop. The day of the announcement, the Archdiocese will send out a text message immediately after Rome's announcement (at 5 a.m. CST). Throughout that day, the Archdiocese welcomes you to check back on archstl.org for pictures and stories concerning the announcement.The Archdiocese will provide a video stream the Archbishop-elect's first press conference, and will provide Twitter and website updates throughout the day. We hope we will be able to welcome our next Archbishop soon, and share in your excitement, as we have been without an Archbishop for almost one year! All of these events will be taking place right here on archstl.org, so be sure to check back early and often after you receive a text message announcing the next Archbishop! |
