Monsignor Gardin is one of two Vicars General in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, and represents the Archbishop in overseeing the parishes in five deaneries: North St. Louis City, South St. Louis City, Southwest St. Louis County, Southeast St. Louis County and Ste. Genevieve County. As Vicar of Administration, he oversees the organization and operations of the offices, agencies and ministries of the Archdiocese. The agencies and ministries he works with touch lives every day, including Catholic Charities, Special Education, Cardinal Ritter High School, Respect Life, Disability Ministry and Hispanic Ministry. “One of the most important and uplifting verses in the Bible is St. Paul’s revelation on love.
